Read this tale aloud, or read along with your little one. Sentences are short and the words are simple.
Once a fox walked in the woods. He met a cat. The cat said: I have one trick.
The fox said: I have a hundred tricks. They heard hounds. The hounds were coming.
The cat climbed a tree. The fox did not know what to do. The hounds caught him.
So it is better to have one good trick than a hundred bad ones.
