Katze und Maus in Gesellschaft

A cat and a mouse lived together. They kept a jar of fat. The mouse said: we must save it for winter.

The cat liked to eat it. She went to see her god. The mouse stayed home.

The cat ate some of the fat. She said: nothing here. The cat went again and again.

The jar was almost empty. Winter came. The mouse went to get the fat.

It was gone. The cat came in. The mouse said: you ate it.

The cat said: I can eat you too. The mouse ran away. And the cat kept eating.

So the mouse was right. The cat is not to be trusted.
